Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastian Bungescu struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mugurel Graur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moara Domneasca. Mugurel Piț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Graur having to interfere. Sebastian Bungescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordache Bociort was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 42 played minutes Espada got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Bociort. After 46 minutes of play, Espada's Costică Gavrilescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisc Gurlui was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Bungescu was the one to do the kick off. Marcel Maniu's late challenge caught a Espada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Maniu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Espada booed when Moara Domneasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Maniu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Espada's goalkeeper Mugurel Graur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moara Domneasca's Francisc Gurlui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Gavrilescu in the 58th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Espada's Costică Gavrilescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisc Gurlui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Costică Gavrilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bungescu in the 81st minute of play forced Espada's goalkeeper Mugurel Graur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moara Domneasca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
