Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ionel Roşu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ionel Roşu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Codrin Dăscălescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Videanu in the 7th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ionel Roşu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Codrin Dăscălescu to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute Ionel Roşu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Dăscălescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Roşu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Codrin Dăscălescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Marin Bobailă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivancauti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Bobailă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vintilă Aluculesei struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gavril Braniște didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inginerul Baia Mare FC. In the 26th minute, Iosif Vasiloiu made a precise shot to the right of Gavril Braniște. Ivancauti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Codrin Videanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Ionel Roşu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavel Dogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gavril Braniște made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lupoaia in the 38th minute of play. Gavril Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Aluculesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Victor Lupoaia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Marcel Jupâneanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Codrin Dăscălescu, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codrin Videanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Iosif Vasiloiu got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Ionel Roşu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Dăscălescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Vintilă Aluculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Jupâneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Dăscălescu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ionel Roşu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Dăscălescu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vintilă Aluculesei got free with Gavril Braniște in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Codrin Dăscălescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Roşu went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ivancauti getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marin Bobailă hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Victor Lupoaia got a free kick in the 86th minute. Gavril Braniște made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Lupoaia in the 88th minute. In the 88th match minute, Inginerul Baia Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Butnaru to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Jupâneanu came free, but Codrin Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ivancauti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
