Alvarez Schreiner hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Dumitru Achiriloaie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pompiliu Finteșteanu. Icing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Achiriloaie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The FC Botosani fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when FC Botosani's Alanzo Olmos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Sava in the 14th minute of play forced Icing's goalkeeper Pompiliu Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dumitru Achiriloaie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pompiliu Finteșteanu. But to his dismay, Cristinel Sava quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Pompiliu Finteșteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvarez Schreiner went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. A collision led to Icing getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mugurel Radovan hit a great ball. Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alanzo Olmos in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Achiriloaie in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pompiliu Finteșteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Alanzo Olmos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pompiliu Finteșteanu. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Achiriloaie to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Dumitru Achiriloaie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pompiliu Finteșteanu. That made the score 0-12 in the 52 minute of play. George Domnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Alanzo Olmos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Pompiliu Finteșteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alanzo Olmos in the 61st minute of play. Pompiliu Finteșteanu was a little too slow when Dumitru Achiriloaie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-14. 73 minutes into the match, Icing's goalkeeper Pompiliu Finteșteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alanzo Olmos. After 74 minutes, Alanzo Olmos made it 0-16 with a short kick to the right side. Icing's Pompiliu Finteșteanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alvarez Schreiner sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Sava in the 79th minute of play forced Icing's goalkeeper Pompiliu Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Achiriloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pompiliu Finteșteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Botosani made a substitution. Octavian Mirciulescu replaced Dumitru Achiriloaie. In the 85th minute, FC Botosani's Octavian Mirciulescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pompiliu Finteșteanu. Pompiliu Finteșteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. In the 90th minute, Fabian Mereuță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pompiliu Finteșteanu. The goal made the score 0-18. Alanzo Olmos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Alanzo Olmos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Finteșteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19. FC Botosani's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
