Spectators: 7739 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ionel Roşu got the match started through his kick off. Denis Şuplăcan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd match minute, Sag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Breazu to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Ionuț Vermeşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Braniște saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ivancauti's goal looked a bit too open when Cazimir Moisil came free, but Gavril Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Nicolae Luncanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivancauti the free kick. The supporters of Ivancauti booed when Sag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Luncanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Vermeşan during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ionuț Vermeşan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Ionel Roşu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sag's Dorin Zegreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavril Braniște showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Breazu in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Moisil in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Braniște saved Ivancauti from getting behind. Gavril Braniște took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Breazu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, Ivancauti's Corneliu Purcaru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorin Zegreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 40 minutes, Ionuț Vermeşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Vermeşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Ivancauti got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Noica. Ionel Roşus short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Dorin Zegreanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th match minute, Ivancauti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Lupulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Denis Şuplăcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ionel Roşu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dorin Zegreanu. Dorin Zegreanu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu. But to his dismay, Ionel Roşu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Marcu Cînu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavril Braniște. Ivancauti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute, Denis Şuplăcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Braniște was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 71 minutes into the game, Ionel Roşu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Dorin Zegreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionel Roşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. Sag's Dorin Zegreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Jupâneanu in the 78th minute of play. Dinu Lupulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dorin Zegreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Zegreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Roşu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Ionel Roşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dorin Zegreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Bobailă charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marin Bobailă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Ivancauti got a freekick which was hit by Marin Bobailă. Ionel Roşu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Zegreanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ionel Roşu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorin Zegreanu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ionuț Vermeşan was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ionuț Vermeşan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ivancauti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
