Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 80) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dumitru Achiriloaie took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alanzo Olmos sped through FC Micsunia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Jupân. Dan Jupân made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Achiriloaie in the 12th minute of play. Dan Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alanzo Olmos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Dumitru Achiriloaie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Botosani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Alanzo Olmos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Jupân. Dan Jupân made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alanzo Olmos in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Alanzo Olmos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Jupân. FC Micsunia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alanzo Olmos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Măliță during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the game, Alanzo Olmos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dan Jupân was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Botosani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Bălașa in the 42nd minute. The corner led FC Botosani's Aristide Bălașa to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Jupân despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dumitru Achiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Jupân having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Dancu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mihail Ionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Achiriloaie during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Botosani getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dumitru Achiriloaie hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, FC Micsunia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Fundătoreanu to maneuver through the defense. FC Botosani made a substitution. David Malcocea replaced Remus Zbora. Dan Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Achiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 76 minutes, Alanzo Olmos made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Botosani made a substitution. Octavian Mirciulescu replaced Dumitru Achiriloaie. Alanzo Olmos came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dan Jupân could save by the left post. With a little luck, FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân got control of the ball when Cristinel Sava tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Jupân stood somewhat misplaced when Octavian Mirciulescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Octavian Mirciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dan Jupân tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Brașoveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mircea Cupșa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Jupân. FC Micsunia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Botosani left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Micsunia.
