Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corneliu Crăcană took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ionuț Vermeşan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sag's Dorin Zegreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Crăcană in the 8th minute of play. Sorin Brumaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. Dorin Zegreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Crăcană, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alex Sălcudeanu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sag's Cazimir Moisil. But to his dismay, Cazimir Moisil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Brumaru in the 28th minute of play forced Sag's goalkeeper Dorin Zegreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Crăcană in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorin Zegreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pompiliu Breazu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Sălcudeanu having to make a save. Gică Leahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Mincă kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Denis Şuplăcan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pompiliu Breazu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Sorin Brumaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Zegreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ionuț Vermeşan fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sag's protests and gave Ionuț Vermeşan a yellow card for diving instead. Ionuț Vermeşan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Alin Achiriloaie from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Dorin Zegreanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 60 minutes, Corneliu Crăcană managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Crăcană was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, David Trapcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alin Achiriloaie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorin Zegreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Alin Achiriloaie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 67th minute. Sorin Brumaru in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorin Zegreanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cazimir Moisil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, RADA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Dragotescu to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Crăcană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dorin Zegreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Dorin Zegreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when RADA's Sorin Brumaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cazimir Moisil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Sălcudeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Moisil in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Sorin Brumaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dorin Zegreanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Sag's Ionuț Vermeşan got a free kick in the 97th minute.
