Spectators: 7840 (Terracing: 5885, Seating: 1805, VIP seats: 150) Corneliu Crăcană started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Remus Zbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes RADA got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Vârlan. In the 19th minute, Alin Achiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Zbora succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. Alex Sălcudeanu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Botosani's Dumitru Achiriloaie. But to his dismay, Dumitru Achiriloaie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. RADA's Alex Sălcudeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Zbora in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Cristinel Sava fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Sava during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, FC Botosani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Sava to maneuver through the defense. Alex Sălcudeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Sava, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Alin Achiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Sălcudeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Sava's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Dumitru Achiriloaie took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Sălcudeanu. Alex Sălcudeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 55 minutes into the game, Remus Zbora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alex Sălcudeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Sălcudeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Malcocea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Botosani's Eduard Voina got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes FC Botosani got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Voina. Alex Sălcudeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Zbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as RADA's Corneliu Crăcană slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihnea Aldea. That made the score 5-1 after 71 minutes of play. Alex Sălcudeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Zbora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, FC Botosani's Dumitru Achiriloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Sălcudeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 83rd minute Cristinel Sava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Sălcudeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Sălcudeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Achiriloaie in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Sorin Brumaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Botosani's Mihnea Aldea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, RADA's Constantin Doicaru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Constantin Doicaru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RADA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Constantin Doicaru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of RADA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Botosani:s goal. Corneliu Crăcană struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Mihnea Aldea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RADA. When the referee ended the match the FC Botosani players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
