Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 153) Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionel Roşu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a huge save. Pompiliu Finteșteanu stood somewhat misplaced when Ionel Roşu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. Ionel Roşu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a huge save. After 10 played minutes Ivancauti got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Lupulescu. Pompiliu Finteșteanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corneliu Purcaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ionel Roşu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivancauti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Roşu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Finteșteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Icing's Pompiliu Finteșteanu got control of the ball when Ionel Roşu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pompiliu Finteșteanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Jupâneanu in the 33rd minute of play. Ionel Roşu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Ivancauti's Marcel Jupâneanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pompiliu Finteșteanu. Pompiliu Finteșteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Ionel Roşu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pompiliu Finteșteanu. Pompiliu Finteșteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Marcel Jupâneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes of play, Ivancauti's Marcel Jupâneanu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pompiliu Finteșteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Domnescu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Roşu in the 53rd minute of play forced Icing's goalkeeper Pompiliu Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Finteșteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Purcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pompiliu Finteșteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corneliu Purcaru went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Aurel Cipău scored 8-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pompiliu Finteșteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pompiliu Finteșteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Roşu in the 67th minute of play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Vasile Noica sped through Icing's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pompiliu Finteșteanu. When Ivancauti's Ionel Roşu in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Icing's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Icing's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Roşu came free, but Pompiliu Finteșteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Finteșteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Jupâneanu went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Roşu in the 88th minute of play forced Icing's goalkeeper Pompiliu Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Finteșteanu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ivancauti's Corneliu Purcaru. But to his dismay, Corneliu Purcaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0.
