Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corneliu Crăcană took the kick off in the first half of the match. Corneliu Crăcană's late challenge caught a Ivancauti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corneliu Crăcană helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes RADA got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Crăcană. Gavril Braniște made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Achiriloaie in the 10th minute of play. Alex Sălcudeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Jupâneanu in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Ivancauti's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Crăcană came free, but Gavril Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Crăcană in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Avram Botea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Braniște saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Brumaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gavril Braniște took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Achiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Sorin Brumaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavril Braniște showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Achiriloaie in the 22nd minute of the match. Sorin Brumaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavril Braniște. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sorin Brumaru ran back to his position shaking his head. RADA's Alex Sălcudeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save RADA from getting a goal against them. If Sorin Brumaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RADA booed when Ivancauti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Bobailă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alin Achiriloaie struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gavril Braniște didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RADA. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Brumaru in the 32nd minute of play. Corneliu Purcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alex Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RADA's Avram Botea got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Brumaru in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Braniște saved Ivancauti from getting behind. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Crăcană in the 43rd minute of play. Francisc Vârlan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Gică Leahu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Sorin Brumaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Braniște saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Lupulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sorin Brumaru got free with Gavril Braniște in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Crăcană in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the RADA defense, Marcel Jupâneanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Sălcudeanu. The RADA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Sălcudeanu should have stopped the shot. Alex Sălcudeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Purcaru in the 71st minute of the match. Gavril Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Crăcană, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Ivancauti's Gavril Braniște got control of the ball when Sorin Brumaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ionel Roşu scored 3-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Sălcudeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Sălcudeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
