Spectators: 7640 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 80) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viorel Dancu started the match with the kick off. Vintilă Aluculesei scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Jupân, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codrin Videanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Jupân having to make a save. With a little luck, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Codrin Dăscălescu got control of the ball when Viorel Dancu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Viorel Dancu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Pacuraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Codrin Dăscălescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Codrin Videanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihail Ionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Codrin Videanu made a precise shot to the right of Dan Jupân. FC Micsunia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yader Patiño was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. Yader Patiño kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Fabian Iulian tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Vintilă Aluculesei notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân. Dan Jupân was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narcis Fundătoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Codrin Dăscălescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Jupân came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Victor Lupoaia. But to his dismay, Victor Lupoaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the game, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Vintilă Aluculesei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Jupân made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FC Micsunia from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Dumitru Afloarei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Micsunia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Viorel Dancu hit a great ball. FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save FC Micsunia from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Inginerul Baia Mare FC's zone, Viorel Dancu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Dăscălescu came out of the goal and Viorel Dancu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codrin Dăscălescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Pacuraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Micsunia's Laurențiu Brașoveanu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Victor Lupoaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Fundătoreanu in the 68th minute of play forced Inginerul Baia Mare FC's goalkeeper Codrin Dăscălescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Inginerul Baia Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Aluculesei to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Codrin Videanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Jupân made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Victor Lupoaia sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Pacuraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Codrin Dăscălescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Narcis Fundătoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although FC Micsunia had been in control for most of the match, Inginerul Baia Mare FC still came away with the win.
