Dragoesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Gavra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Dobre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Horea Marchidan made the kick off in the second half. Emilian Miclauș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Pavel Mergea took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nicu Dobre to make any attempt to save it. Horea Marchidan scored 2-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iurie Cordescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Marchidan in the 94th minute of play forced Dragoesti's goalkeeper Iurie Cordescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Pavel Mergea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragoesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colteni the free kick. Dragoesti were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Colteni's much stronger midfield.
