The referee showed Basarab Ionete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dragoesti getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. The wind increased when Marius Săvescu made the kick off in the second half. Dragoesti's Iurie Cordescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Almăgean in the 87th minute of play.
