Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nechifor Baltian came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by BBI&REA's Aurelian Podgoreanu. But to his dismay, Aurelian Podgoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Basarab Ionete charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basarab Ionete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BBI&REA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Basarab Ionete hit a great ball. Isac Săliştean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Zăraşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Aurelian Podgoreanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Matau's Nechifor Baltian. Nechifor Baltian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BBI&REA's Manole Buga got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Matau's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Săvescu came free, but Nechifor Baltian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Gabrea during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Dan Gabrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baltian having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aurelian Podgoreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Baltian was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Marius Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Podgoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Baltian came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by BBI&REA's Marius Săvescu. But to his dismay, Marius Săvescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Manole Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baltian having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Rareș Lupoaia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matau and the BBI&REA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Matau getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rareș Lupoaia hit a great ball. Nechifor Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Podgoreanu in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marius Săvescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Baltian was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Manole Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baltian having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Săvescu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 44th minute of the match Dan Gabrea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Gabrea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of BBI&REA booed when Matau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Lupoaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Aurelian Podgoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Matau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BBI&REA were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Săvescu to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Basarab Ionete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Baltian made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Basarab Ionete sent off a good shot on target. Marius Săvescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baltian having to interfere. Nechifor Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Săvescu in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of BBI&REA booed when Matau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Istrate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute BBI&REA were awarded a corner. Ştefan Ailenei went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matau's goalkeeper Nechifor Baltian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Marius Săvescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nechifor Baltian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 74 minutes, Marius Săvescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BBI&REA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Săvescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matau's Nechifor Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Buga in the 76th minute of play. Marius Săvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nechifor Baltian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Ionete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Buga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basarab Ionete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Ionete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Irimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Isac Săliştean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matau's goalkeeper Nechifor Baltian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Marius Săvescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BBI&REA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. When the final whistle sounded BBI&REA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Matau.
