Spectators: 7733 (Terracing: 5801, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) Horea Marchidan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Horea Marchidan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radu Constantin. The goal made the score 1-0. Marius Hârșu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radu Constantin. Herastrau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Mădălin Talianu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radu Constantin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Codruț Gaiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horea Marchidan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Constantin saved Herastrau from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Herastrau's zone, Horea Marchidan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Constantin came out of the goal and Horea Marchidan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Orădan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dobre having to interfere. Colteni's Nicu Dobre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Zorlescu in the 24th minute of play. Radu Constantin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Marchidan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Radu Constantin was a little too slow when Emil Vrabie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Codruț Gaiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Constantin having to interfere. Horea Marchidan struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Radu Constantin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colteni. After a rather tough play, Herastrau's Matei Hojbota got a free kick in the 39th minute. Horea Marchidan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Claudiu Codreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Constantin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Costică Codruț fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herastrau's protests and gave Costică Codruț a yellow card for diving instead. Colteni made a substitution. Ovidiu Nastac replaced Codruț Gaiță. After a rather tough play, Herastrau's Costică Codruț got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radu Tarcu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Herastrau's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Marchidan came free, but Radu Constantin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Constantin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Marchidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59thth minute of the game Horea Marchidan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herastrau's Radu Constantin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radu Constantin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Codreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Costică Codruț was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Costică Codruț hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Matei Hojbota kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Matei Hojbota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Horea Marchidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Constantin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Zorlescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Horea Marchidan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Colteni's Horea Marchidan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radu Constantin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Horaţiu Zorlescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Marchidan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Constantin having to make a save. There was no doubt that Colteni were the better team. Colteni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
