Colteni's Nicu Dobre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Mirciu in the 6th minute of play. Cătălin Neculuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Neculuță in the 26th minute of play forced Colteni's goalkeeper Nicu Dobre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Horea Marchidan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Videanu was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the last second Nechifor Videanu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Horea Marchidan in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Claudiu Codreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Videanu having to interfere. Galagiosi FC's Cătălin Neculuță got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Neculuță made a kick off. Nicu Dobre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cătălin Neculuță went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dragoş Mirciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dobre having to interfere. Mihai Goga charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Goga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihai Goga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Galagiosi FC booed when Colteni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Gaiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Galagiosi FC's Gavril Şerbănoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicu Dobre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Galagiosi FC's Cătălin Neculuță ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicu Dobre. Nicu Dobre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When Costin Mazilu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colteni's protests and gave Costin Mazilu a yellow card for diving instead. Colteni's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cătălin Neculuță 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Colteni's Claudiu Codreanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Galagiosi FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Florin Popeangă hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Galagiosi FC's Dragoş Mirciu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Dobre. That made the score 0-4 after 88 minutes of play. When Gavril Şerbănoiu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galagiosi FC's protests and gave Gavril Şerbănoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Gavril Şerbănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Galagiosi FC played a much better game than Colteni and deserved their victory. The Colteni players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
