Manole Ţăranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustin Buligan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Felix Voinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rapid Micesti and the Club Atlético Timișoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Iustin Buligan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olimpiu Buteanu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Felix Voinea hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Costel Dima threw the ball into play from the sideline. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Manole Ţăranu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Bratiloveanu. After having played for 61 minutes, Manole Ţăranu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rapid Micesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Ţăranu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Manole Ţăranu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 66 in the game by Iustin Buligan from a close distance when the talented Olimpiu Buteanu managed to make a qualified save. FC Rapid Micesti's players were relieved. Dumitru Postelnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, FC Rapid Micesti's goalkeeper Olimpiu Buteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Buligan. In the 84th match minute, Club Atlético Timișoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Nediu to maneuver through the defense. FC Rapid Micesti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
