Leonard Buciuman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petrică Bărboianu charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Bărboianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blue Pills's Răzvan Goga was substituted for Mircea Drâmba. Petrică Bărboianu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Blue Pills's Horea Frumușanu in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cirlanesti's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Vergulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Frumușanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Buciuman in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Horea Frumușanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damian Vergulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucian Mareș struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dragoş Gliga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirlanesti. In the 31st minute Leonard Buciuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vergulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragoş Gliga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucian Mareș in the 36th minute. Damian Vergulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Frumușanu in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Cirlanesti booed when Blue Pills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Frumușanu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Frumușanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horea Frumușanu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Vergulescu. Damian Vergulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Constantin Joja hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Petrică Bărboianu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragoş Gliga skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Antim during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Blue Pills booed when Cirlanesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Antim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Vergulescu was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Răzvan Goga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Răzvan Goga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 79th minute Răzvan Goga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vergulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu got control of the ball when Horea Frumușanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Blue Pills's Horea Frumușanu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Vergulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blue Pills's Leonard Buciuman got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Blue Pills left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cirlanesti.
