The Cirlanesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Vergulescu should have stopped the shot. Cirlanesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Chitimia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Damian Vergulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moise Chitimia went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Moise Chitimia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Damian Vergulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moise Chitimia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damian Vergulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Nae Mihăescu sped through Cirlanesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Vergulescu. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Unirea Urziceni had played much better football throughout.
