Dragoş Gliga came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fanaticii's Alin Piersic. But to his dismay, Alin Piersic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dragoş Gliga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Jitaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ernest Poplăcean hit a great ball. Dragoş Gliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Măgură in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Nistor Andriescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Pills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fanaticii the free kick. After 22 played minutes Blue Pills got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Andriescu. In the 28th minute Marius Măgură shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Gliga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Pills's Mircea Drâmba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Marius Măgură had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragoş Gliga. Blue Pills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Măgură was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marius Măgură scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragoş Gliga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Fanaticii's attentive Moise Corduneanu managed to snatch the ball when Anton Urmaticu made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of Blue Pills booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Corduneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Frumușanu in the 70th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Poplăcean. 78 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Frumușanu came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blue Pills's Dragoş Gliga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 87th minute of play. Blue Pills's Dragoş Gliga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Pills from getting a goal against them. Marius Măgură could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dragoş Gliga made a huge save. Dragoş Gliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Jitaru in the 93rd minute of the match. Horea Frumușanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Jitaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dragoş Gliga. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. FC Fanaticii's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
