Spectators: 7674 (Terracing: 5756, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nichifor Mumuleanu kicked off to start the match. If Nistor Zafiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ciprian Cojan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Nichifor Mumuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Cojan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. costobocii's Eric Simionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Purcărete in the 15th minute of play. Eric Simionescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Opaina went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 21 minutes, Costică Dragomiroiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the costobocii and the F C Olt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes costobocii got a freekick which was hit by Costică Dragomiroiu. Olimpiu Opaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Simionescu having to interfere. Luca Bărcăuan struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ciprian Cojan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for costobocii. 26 minutes into the match, F C Olt's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Mumuleanu came free, but Ciprian Cojan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of F C Olt booed when costobocii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Bărcăuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. F C Olt's Nistor Zafiu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nistor Zafiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes, costobocii's Andrei Blidaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciprian Cojan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in costobocii reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Mumuleanu in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Cojan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Bărcăuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Cojan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute of the game Vlad Muslea made a throw-in which Nistor Zafiu played forward.

The wind increased when Matei Purcărete made the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Cojan made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nichifor Mumuleanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 61stth minute of the game Matei Purcărete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but costobocii's Eric Simionescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nistor Zafiu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Tonegaru got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matei Purcărete. Despite being the better team, F C Olt failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
