Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vlad Caraiman kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Cirlanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Ţăranu came free, but Damian Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Caraiman in the 8th minute of play forced Cirlanesti's goalkeeper Damian Vergulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, FC Rapid Micesti's Vlad Caraiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Vergulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dumitru Postelnicu scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Vergulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Manole Ţăranu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Vergulescu. Cirlanesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Ţăranu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Udroiu in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Vlad Caraiman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Damian Vergulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Vergulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Ţăranu in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Cirlanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Ţăranu came free, but Damian Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Costin Blidaru fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cirlanesti's protests and gave Costin Blidaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Costin Blidaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Vergulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Ţăranu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Ţăranu in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Mareș made a kick off. Robert Crișan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Vlad Caraiman came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Rapid Micesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlad Caraiman couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirlanesti's goalkeeper Damian Vergulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manole Ţăranu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Damian Vergulescu made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Cirlanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Caraiman came free, but Damian Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Vergulescu was a little too slow when Vlad Caraiman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-5. When Manole Ţăranu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Rapid Micesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Ţăranu couldn't finish the play. Damian Vergulescu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Manole Ţăranu sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Grigore Antim threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Rapid Micesti's Dumitru Postelnicu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Caraiman in the 83rd minute of play. With his leg Damian Vergulescu managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when FC Rapid Micesti's Manole Ţăranu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Manole Ţăranu could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Damian Vergulescu however easily saved by the left post. Manole Ţăranu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Damian Vergulescu made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dumitru Postelnicu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Vergulescu. That made the score 0-6 in the 90 minute of play. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Ferdinand Cartiș with Lucian Mareș as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Manole Ţăranu took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Vergulescu. Damian Vergulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. FC Rapid Micesti played a much better game than Cirlanesti and deserved their victory. The Cirlanesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
