Petru Nandriș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Cunea in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Nandriș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Steaua Bucuresti were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Vasiliu went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Gheorghe Cunea to score against Petru Nandriș in CSMS Iaşi's goal. 0-8 after 34 minutes. In the 38thth minute of the game Gheorghe Cunea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSMS Iaşi's Petru Nandriș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gheorghe Cunea scored 0-9 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petru Nandriș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gheorghe Cunea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
