In the 21st minute Moise Chitimia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Simionescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, costobocii's Eric Simionescu got control of the ball when Nae Mihăescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Corduneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Moise Chitimia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Simionescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Simionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Chitimia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee ignored costobocii's protests and gave Horia Astafei a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, costobocii's Horia Astafei got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, costobocii's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Bogatu came free, but Eric Simionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moise Chitimia charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Chitimia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moise Chitimia kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the costobocii defense, Moise Chitimia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Simionescu. The costobocii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Simionescu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 62 minutes, Ovidiu Iuga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Unirea Urziceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Iuga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Nae Mihăescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Simionescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 2-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Nichifor Mumuleanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, costobocii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Astafei to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Chitimia in the 76th minute of play forced costobocii's goalkeeper Eric Simionescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Mumuleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Moise Chitimia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Unirea Urziceni booed when costobocii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Teişanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Unirea Urziceni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
