Cezar Cernescu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Simionescu. Eric Simionescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Traian Constantinescu got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 83 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Cezar Cernescu made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Simionescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti's Gheorghe Cunea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Simionescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Eric Simionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 90th minute of play.
