Lindenfeld's Doru Mustea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ovidiu Bungescu but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Zamfirescu in the 12th minute of play forced OLD SCHOOL's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bungescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Mărculescu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Mineață prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Grigoroiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ovidiu Bungescu made a huge save. If Nicodim Mărculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OLD SCHOOL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Filip Zamfirescu scored to the left of an out of position Ovidiu Bungescu, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Lindenfeld's Robert Grigoroiu got a free kick in the 30th minute. Nicodim Mărculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Mineață having to make a save. Filip Zamfirescu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Zamfirescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Lindenfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Zamfirescu to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, OLD SCHOOL's Nicodim Mărculescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Mineață made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in OLD SCHOOL's zone, Robert Grigoroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Bungescu came out of the goal and Robert Grigoroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lindenfeld's Leonard Mineață played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Mărculescu in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Zamfirescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicodim Mărculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Mineață. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicodim Mărculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. OLD SCHOOL's Ovidiu Bungescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Grigoroiu in the 52nd minute of play. Ovidiu Bungescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Grigoroiu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Filip Zamfirescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Dumitru Boeru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonard Mineață. Dumitru Boeru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ovidiu Bungescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Grigoroiu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Lindenfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Zamfirescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Bungescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Doru Mustea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindenfeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLD SCHOOL the free kick. Doru Mustea kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. OLD SCHOOL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
