Costin Purcărete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Mineață having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Ovidiu Negara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lindenfeld booed when Atletico Nervozel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Nuțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Leonard Mineață managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Atletico Nervozel's Ovidiu Negara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ovidiu Negara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Leonard Mineață made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Negara notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lindenfeld's Leonard Mineață. Leonard Mineață was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Mineață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Negara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Basarab Enescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindenfeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Nervozel the free kick. After 19 played minutes Lindenfeld got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Enescu. Leonard Mineață was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Costin Purcărete. With his leg Leonard Mineață managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Atletico Nervozel's Ovidiu Negara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ioan Caba charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ioan Caba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lindenfeld's Ioan Caba got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Lindenfeld's Leonard Mineață got control of the ball when Ovidiu Negara tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filip Nuțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Grigore Onete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonard Mineață made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidiu Negara in the 35th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Robert Grigoroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindenfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Grigoroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidiu Negara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Leonard Mineață made a huge save. Atletico Nervozel's Costin Purcărete got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basarab Enescu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Ovidiu Negara made the kick off in the second half. Filip Zamfirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidiu Negara in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Mineață prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lindenfeld's Leonard Mineață played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Negara in the 54th minute of play. Grigore Onete struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Leonard Mineață didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Nervozel. In the 71stth minute of the game Ovidiu Negara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindenfeld's Leonard Mineață was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Lindenfeld's Ovidiu Iordănescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ovidiu Iordănescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lindenfeld protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ovidiu Iordănescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lindenfeld! Ovidiu Negara placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 81st minute, Ovidiu Negara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Nervozel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Leonard Mineață showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Purcărete, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Ovidiu Negara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Mineață was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Leonard Mineață didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidiu Negara went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ovidiu Negara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Mineață was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Atletico Nervozel's Horaţiu Şimandan suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ioan Caba got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 98 played minutes Lindenfeld got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Caba. Costin Purcărete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Mineață read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play.
