Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ovidiu Negara took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Atletico Nervozel got a freekick which was hit by Sever Dan. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Nervozel's zone, Eugen Tudoran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Cotte came out of the goal and Eugen Tudoran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ernest Antipa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciughes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Nervozel the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ciughes's Ernest Antipa got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes, Eugen Tudoran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciughes and the Atletico Nervozel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Ciughes got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Tudoran. Teddy Cotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tudoran in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Atletico Nervozel's Ovidiu Negara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilie Domnescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ciughes's Ilie Domnescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Negara in the 33rd minute of play. Ernest Antipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Cotte having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Ovidiu Negara put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Domnescu. After the first half Atletico Nervozel were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Tudoran to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Feteanu during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Ciughes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Feteanu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nervozel's Grigore Onete got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Negara notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Ciughes's Ilie Domnescu. Ilie Domnescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Ovidiu Negara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilie Domnescu. The goal made the score 0-6. Teddy Cotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Sfârlea in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ciughes's Ilie Domnescu got control of the ball when Grigore Onete tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Ciughes's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Negara came free, but Ilie Domnescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes Ciughes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Costin Purcărete who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atletico Nervozel's corner Costin Purcărete fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilie Domnescu quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Romeo Uncheşu in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ciughes's Ionică Feteanu. Ilie Domnescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Purcărete in the 78th minute of the match. Atletico Nervozel's Teddy Cotte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Tudoran in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Ciughes were awarded a corner. Mihăiţă Petrin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mihăiţă Petrin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teddy Cotte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 86 minutes, Ovidiu Negara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Nervozel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Negara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88th play minutes Ovidiu Negara shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Ilie Domnescu and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Costin Purcărete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Domnescu was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Atletico Nervozel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ciughes.
