Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mircea Urseanu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Eugen Tudoran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Urducea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aurel Porumboiu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mihai Sfârlea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Urducea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Tudoran in the 10th minute of play forced Mediasch's goalkeeper Victor Urducea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Neaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Domnescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Urseanu in the 13th minute of play. Victor Urducea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Tudoran's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Eugen Tudoran notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mediasch's Victor Urducea. Victor Urducea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihai Sfârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Victor Urducea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Prezan's late challenge caught a Mediasch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tudor Prezan helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Ciughes got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Prezan. After 27 played minutes Mediasch got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Urseanu. When Eugen Tudoran came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ciughes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Tudoran couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes, Mihnea Niculcea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mediasch and the Ciughes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihnea Niculcea hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sabin Panaite kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ilie Domnescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Narcis Jivulescu. Ilie Domnescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Urseanu in the 41st minute of the match. Victor Urducea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Tudoran in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Ciughes's Eugen Tudoran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Urducea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Tudoran to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mediasch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihăiţă Petrin was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciughes's players had a chance to rest. Ilie Domnescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Niculcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mediasch booed when Ciughes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Lozovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciughes's Ilie Domnescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Romanescu in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mediasch's Nae Bala got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eugen Tudoran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Urducea having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ionică Feteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciughes's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Feteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Urducea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mediasch's Aurel Porumboiu got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Francisc Romanescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Sabin Panaite fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciughes's protests and gave Sabin Panaite a yellow card for diving instead. Sabin Panaite kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Eugen Tudorans short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Victor Urducea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Mihai Sfârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mediasch's Lucian Drăgan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ciughes's Ernest Antipa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emilian Bistreanu in the 94 minute of the game. The Mediasch fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciughes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
