Spectators: 7762 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) TNL Sector 3's Sabin Inculeț started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sever Dragotescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petre Purcărete came out and tried to block the shot, but Sever Dragotescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Ivanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Inculeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sever Dragotescu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Purcărete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, TNL Sector 3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Duțulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Gigel Mihalcea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petre Purcărete skillfully saved the ball.
