Lucrețiu Aronescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Grigore Furdui made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, FC MILITARI's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Răduț came free, but Grigore Furdui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MILITARI's Grigore Furdui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Răduț in the 8th minute of play. Grigore Furdui made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lucrețiu Aronescu sent off a good shot on target. If Paul Cinteză had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes of play, FC MILITARI's Paul Cinteză made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Bărbuceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, FC MILITARI's goalkeeper Grigore Furdui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucrețiu Aronescu. Grigore Furdui made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lucrețiu Aronescu sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, FC MILITARI's Paul Cinteză nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Bărbuceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Martin Angheluș kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Emil Bărbuceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Jupân, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Cinteză fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Bărbuceanu having to interfere. After 47 played minutes FC DNI got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Carp. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Răduț was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Paul Cinteză got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Emil Bărbuceanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Bejan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Paul Cinteză who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Emil Bărbuceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Grigore Furdui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Aronescu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, FC DNI's Lucrețiu Aronescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Furdui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Ciprian Răduț made a precise shot to the right of Grigore Furdui. FC MILITARI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 72 minutes into the game, Martin Angheluș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grigore Furdui came out of the goal and Petre Almăgean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 played minutes FC DNI got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Răduț. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC MILITARI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
