Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) F.C. MIROSLAVA's Emanuel Mumuleanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristinel Ponor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, F.C. MIROSLAVA's Niculae Achiriloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrei Roman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Girleasa CSM defense, Emanuel Mumuleanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrei Roman. The Girleasa CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Roman should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Iulian Plăcintă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrei Roman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Iurie Căliman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of F.C. MIROSLAVA booed when Girleasa CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Baicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, F.C. MIROSLAVA's Niculae Achiriloaie tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Andrei Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mumuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Girleasa CSM's Iurie Căliman managed to work through F.C. MIROSLAVA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Iurie Căliman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 43 minutes into the match, Girleasa CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mumuleanu came free, but Andrei Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Cristinel Ponor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girleasa CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Ponor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mumuleanu in the 48th minute of play forced Girleasa CSM's goalkeeper Andrei Roman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Cristinel Ponor made the kick off in the second half. Manole Dindelegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Crăcană in the 52nd minute of the match. Mugurel Crăcană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Iurie Căliman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manole Dindelegan. F.C. MIROSLAVA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iurie Căliman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Andrei Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mumuleanu in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Girleasa CSM got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Encuțoiu. 64 minutes into the match, Girleasa CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mumuleanu came free, but Andrei Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, F.C. MIROSLAVA's Valer Damian made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrei Roman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mugurel Crăcană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. MIROSLAVA's Manole Dindelegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Ponor in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Girleasa CSM's Augustin Encuțoiu got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes Girleasa CSM got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Ponor. Valer Damian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Andrei Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. MIROSLAVA's Emanuel Mumuleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrei Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Romulus in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes F.C. MIROSLAVA got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Plăcintă. F.C. MIROSLAVA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
