Gelu Iordache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Oncescu in the 13th minute of the match. Augustin Carabulea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Constantinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură in the 19th minute of play. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Carabulea in the 45th minute of play. Gelu Iordache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Oncescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The F.C. Viitorul Șieu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC DEIS -MM- were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Barbăsură to strike the kick off in the second half. Mugur Constantinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Emilian Barbăsură cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aron Voineag was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Eusebiu Oncescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Gelu Iordache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC DEIS -MM-'s Eusebiu Oncescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gelu Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Carabulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
