Spectators: 5778 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) FC MILITARI's Paul Cinteză started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gelu Iordache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Cinteză in the 8th minute. FC MILITARI's Grigore Furdui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Barbăsură in the 10th minute of play. Emilian Barbăsură's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigore Furdui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, FC MILITARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Angheluș to maneuver through the defense. If George Bejan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Codrin Sârban put in a rough tackle. 25 minutes into the game, one of FC MILITARI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Grigore Furdui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Fecioru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Furdui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Barbăsură in the 35th minute of the match. George Bejan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC MILITARI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for F.C. Viitorul Șieu. Luca Vişan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Grigore Furdui. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilian Barbăsură made a kick off. George Bejan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Iordache having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Vlad Alucai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MILITARI and the F.C. Viitorul Șieu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC MILITARI's Vlad Alucai got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Luca Vişan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grigore Furdui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Viitorul Șieu reached it. Grigore Furdui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, George Bejan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MILITARI's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Bejan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Aron Voineag got a free kick in the 78th minute. Martin Angheluș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC MILITARI's Nichifor Chiru got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Nichifor Chiru managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MILITARI's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Chiru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Iordache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Bejan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Leontin Davidescu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gelu Iordache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MILITARI. Martin Angheluș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gelu Iordache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of F.C. Viitorul Șieu were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC MILITARI side.
