Capsa CSM's Mircea Avădanei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Capsa CSM from getting a goal against them. Mircea Avădanei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Carabulea in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Carabulea in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Avădanei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute of the match, Eusebiu Oncescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mircea Avădanei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Capsa CSM's Răzvan Zdrenghea got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Oncescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mircea Avădanei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebiu Oncescu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Avădanei. Mircea Avădanei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Augustin Carabulea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Crâșmaru kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Capsa CSM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Augustin Carabulea scored to the left of an out of position Mircea Avădanei, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Eusebiu Oncescu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Augustin Carabulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Avădanei having to interfere. Mircea Avădanei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Carabulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Carabulea in the 61st minute of play forced Capsa CSM's goalkeeper Mircea Avădanei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Irinel Durbac fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capsa CSM's protests and gave Irinel Durbac a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC DEIS -MM- booed when Capsa CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Durbac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicu Vernescu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 76 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Petre Vrânceanu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Ion Staicu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mircea Avădanei skillfully saved the ball. If Augustin Carabulea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Avădanei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Oncescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mircea Avădanei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Carabulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
