Nae Baicea charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Baicea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Nae Baicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Girleasa CSM's Nae Baicea got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Iurie Căliman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Girleasa CSM's Mugurel Crăcană nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Boroș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Manuel Andone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Roman having to interfere. Mugurel Crăcană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Crăcană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isac Boroș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Crăcană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Boroș having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Mihai Avacariței mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ebendorf and the Girleasa CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihai Avacariței kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Ebendorf got a freekick which was hit by Emil Tutunaru. Ebendorf's Isac Boroș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Crăcană in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Girleasa CSM were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Girleasa CSM's Mugurel Crăcană got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Andone struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Andrei Roman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ebendorf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Andone in the 55th minute of play forced Girleasa CSM's goalkeeper Andrei Roman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ebendorf's Alexandru Postolache got a free kick in the 56th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Boroș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Crăcană in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Iurie Căliman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girleasa CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Iurie Căliman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Boroș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Denis Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Ogășanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Boroș having to interfere. Mugurel Crăcană blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Boroș having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Mihai Avacariței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Boroș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Crăcană, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Mugurel Crăcană got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Ebendorf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Girleasa CSM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
