Alexandru Ficsinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Stoicănescu in the 3rd minute of the match. Mircea Petruescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Liviu Gâgea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Samsud's goalkeeper Liviu Gâgea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorin Roşca. After some careless play in the Samsud defense, Dorin Roşca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liviu Gâgea. The Samsud fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liviu Gâgea should have stopped the shot. Samsud's Liviu Gâgea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Samsud from getting a goal against them. Gavril Enaches short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Liviu Gâgea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sabin Măcriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Benga charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liviu Benga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Fᥴ MANDALORIAN's Gavril Enache got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Liviu Gâgea. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Sabin Măcriș put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandru Ficsinescu. In the 48th minute, Isac Irod got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dorin Roşca made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Daniel Tănasă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Gâgea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Fᥴ MANDALORIAN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gică Mudura fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maxim Panaitoiu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Samsud booed when Fᥴ MANDALORIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Irod didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Fᥴ MANDALORIAN got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Roşca. Liviu Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Roşca in the 86th minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fᥴ MANDALORIAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petre Stoicănescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Samsud's players had a chance to rest. Samsud's Petre Stoicănescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandru Ficsinescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
