Gelu Arghiroiu charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Arghiroiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Capsa CSM getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gelu Arghiroiu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Anastasiu in the 21st minute of play forced Capsa CSM's goalkeeper Mircea Avădanei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play Capsa CSM's Gelu Arghiroiu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of -PSC- UFC Dridu booed when Capsa CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Arghiroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Victor Cosor in the 25th minute really tested Mircea Avădanei's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Călin Gavra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Moșneanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Călin Gavra ran back to his position shaking his head. Aron Moșneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Crâșmaru in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by -PSC- UFC Dridu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergiu Frențiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Capsa CSM's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sergiu Frențiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -PSC- UFC Dridu's Aron Moșneanu did a great save. Mircea Avădanei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Iorda in the 37th minute of the match. Capsa CSM's Mircea Avădanei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Iorda in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Călin Gavra made a kick off. In the 63rd minute Fabian Anastasiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Avădanei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. -PSC- UFC Dridu's Fabian Anastasiu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Anastasiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Enciulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 76 minutes, Călin Gavra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capsa CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Gavra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Crâșmaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Moșneanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Crâșmaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Călin Gavra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Anastasiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Avram Iorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capsa CSM's Martin Enciulescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Martin Enciulescu off the ground. Martin Enciulescu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Călin Gavra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avram Iorda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The -PSC- UFC Dridu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Capsa CSM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
