Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eusebiu Oncescu made the kick off which started today's match. Nae Baicea hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC DEIS -MM-'s zone, Mugurel Crăcană stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Constantinescu came out of the goal and Mugurel Crăcană tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 played minutes FC DEIS -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Paul Lunca. FC DEIS -MM-'s Mugur Constantinescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC DEIS -MM- from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC DEIS -MM-'s Cristian Gordunescu got a free kick in the 9th minute. Mugur Constantinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Crăcană in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Mugurel Crăcană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Constantinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Constantinescu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cristinel Ponor sent off a good shot on target. FC DEIS -MM-'s Mugur Constantinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Crăcană in the 24th minute of play. Andrei Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Oncescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Augustin Carabulea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Andrei Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Nae Baicea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girleasa CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC DEIS -MM- the free kick. After a rather tough play, Girleasa CSM's Nae Baicea got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Paul Lunca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, FC DEIS -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Crăcană came free, but Mugur Constantinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Oncescu in the 34th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Aurelian Gârbovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DEIS -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girleasa CSM the free kick. Nae Baicea kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cristinel Ponor made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Staicu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC DEIS -MM- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Girleasa CSM. Sergiu Tăbăcaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mugur Constantinescu. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Carabulea in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Roman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute Cristinel Ponor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Constantinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes FC DEIS -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergiu Tăbăcaru who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Girleasa CSM's corner Sergiu Tăbăcaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mugur Constantinescu quite easily take care of the ball. FC DEIS -MM-'s Ion Staicu suffered a fractured collar bone after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cristinel Ponor charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Ponor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Girleasa CSM got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Ponor. If Cristinel Ponor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, FC DEIS -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Căliman came free, but Mugur Constantinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugur Constantinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Crăcană in the 75th minute of play. Paul Lunca hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Mugurel Crăcană had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Oncescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Roman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristinel Ponor might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugur Constantinescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Ponor ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, FC DEIS -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Crăcană came free, but Mugur Constantinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Roman made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Eusebiu Oncescu sent off a good shot on target. Andrei Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Carabulea in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Girleasa CSM's Andrei Roman got control of the ball when Eusebiu Oncescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC DEIS -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
