Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Constantin Lupașcu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Valentin Petculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Anghel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes Bikszad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cazimir Berceanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Basarab Huștiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bikszad's Costică Anghel did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Petculescu in the 11th minute of play forced Bikszad's goalkeeper Costică Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Manuel Săliştean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Panaitoaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Orășan to maneuver through the defense. Bikszad's Octavian Dragota couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Panaitoaia. The crowd rose to their feet as Bikszad's Constantin Lupașcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichifor Cerchez. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Vasile Orășan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Anghel. Bikszad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasile Orășan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Octavian Dragota hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nichifor Cerchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Lupașcu in the 30th minute of the match. Calistrat Chitoran's late challenge caught a Bikszad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Chitoran helped the player get up and apologised. Constantin Lupașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nichifor Cerchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Anghel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Petculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Bikszad's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Petculescu came free, but Costică Anghel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Encescu charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Encescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Valentin Petculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costică Anghel was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Constantin Lupașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Cerchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Petculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Valentin Petculescu from a close distance when the talented Costică Anghel managed to make a qualified save. Bikszad's players were relieved. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bikszad's goalkeeper Costică Anghel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calistrat Chitoran hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Aurelian Dijmărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Valentin Petculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costică Anghel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Constantin Lupașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nichifor Cerchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Valentin Petculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ioan Baniciu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Valentin Petculescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Anghel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When Cazimir Berceanu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Panaitoaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Berceanu couldn't finish the play. Valentin Petculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Costică Anghel made a huge save. When the match was over Panaitoaia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bikszad throughout the match.
