The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Lupașcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mihăiţă Curtean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantin Lupașcu struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Iustinian Penciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bikszad. Bikszad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
