Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gigel Muntean started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Remus Stolojan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codrin Zburlea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ioan Pavelescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Codrin Zburlea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eduard Crăcană showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Chiriță, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Codrin Zburlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petre Dabija in the 10th minute. Timisoara 1921's Codrin Zburlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Stolojan in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Sant-PN getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Flavius Lechințan hit a great ball. If Valentin Chiriță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Stolojan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Zburlea saved Timisoara 1921 from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Timisoara 1921's goalkeeper Codrin Zburlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Muntean. Costel Muscă's late challenge caught a Sant-PN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Muscă helped the player get up and apologised. Eduard Crăcană showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Chiriță in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Timisoara 1921 booed when Sant-PN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Stolojan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dinu Dănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Muntean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Codrin Zburlea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ioan Pavelescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match, Remus Stolojan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codrin Zburlea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Ignea during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Timisoara 1921 got a freekick which was hit by Sever Ignea. With a little luck, Timisoara 1921's Codrin Zburlea got control of the ball when Gigel Muntean tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Remus Stolojan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Codrin Zburlea, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Chiriță made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gigel Muntean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Zburlea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Codrin Zburlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Muntean in the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Dinu Dănciulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timisoara 1921's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sant-PN the free kick. After 60 minutes of play, Sant-PN's Remus Stolojan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codrin Zburlea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduard Crăcană was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Chiriță showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Remus Stolojan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Gigel Muntean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sant-PN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Dinu Dănciulescu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Robert Bocu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timisoara 1921's Dinu Albu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emanuel Cristache in the 83 minute of the game. In the 84th minute Remus Stolojan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Zburlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Stolojan in the 86th minute of play forced Timisoara 1921's goalkeeper Codrin Zburlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Muntean in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Zburlea saved Timisoara 1921 from getting behind. Codrin Zburlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Stolojan in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gigel Muntean made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Zburlea. Timisoara 1921's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Remus Stolojan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sant-PN fully deserved thier win.
