Manole Vulturar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Spiridon in the 5th minute of the match. Manole Vulturar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Spiridon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Flavius Bolcaș notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BlackKnights's Manole Vulturar. Manole Vulturar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Spiridon in the 14th minute of play forced BlackKnights's goalkeeper Manole Vulturar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Spelbu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Dorin Mercea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 24 minutes into the match, BlackKnights's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Ciolacu came free, but Manole Vulturar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Spelbu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorin Mercea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, BlackKnights's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Ciolacu came free, but Manole Vulturar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Victor Sbârcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pompiliu Spiridon struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Manole Vulturar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Iasi. A collision led to Poli Iasi getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nae Tănăsocă hit a great ball. The supporters of BlackKnights booed when Poli Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Bolcaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Poli Iasi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pompiliu Spiridon made a kick off. With his leg Manole Vulturar managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Poli Iasi's Eugen Ciolacu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Albert Spelbu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorin Mercea was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Albert Spelbu made a precise shot to the right of Dorin Mercea. Poli Iasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Manole Vulturar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Spiridon in the 87th minute of the match. Dorin Mercea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Spelbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Eugen Ciolacu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Poli Iasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Ciolacu couldn't finish the play. The Poli Iasi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poli Iasi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
