Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tiberiu Iordache made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Rausor's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Muscă came free, but Horea Bălțăteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Istrate hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Iordache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Zburlea having to interfere. With a little luck, Timisoara 1921's Codrin Zburlea got control of the ball when Tiberiu Iordache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horea Bălțăteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Muscă in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Costel Muscă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Bălțăteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Muscă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Horea Bălțăteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Chiriță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Timisoara 1921's Valentin Chiriță made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Bălțăteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dinu Dănciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timisoara 1921's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Dănciulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Bălțăteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horea Bălțăteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Chiriță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timisoara 1921's Costel Muscă couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rausor.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Chiriță to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aurel Istrate fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rausor's protests and gave Aurel Istrate a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rausor getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aurel Istrate hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Valentin Chiriță recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horea Bălțăteanu. Valentin Chiriță showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Horea Bălțăteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Chiriță in the 67th minute of play. Horea Bălțăteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Chiriță, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Aurel Istrate hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ovidiu Gavruță made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and George Magheru immediately put the ball in play. After 82 played minutes Rausor got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Negruț. After a rather tough play, Rausor's Alexandru Negruț got a free kick in the 88th minute. Horea Bălțăteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Chiriță in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Timisoara 1921 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rausor throughout the match.
