Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Poli Iasi's Pompiliu Spiridon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Bădila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Ciolacu in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosmin Gaiță in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Mercea saved Poli Iasi from getting behind. With 7 minutes on the clock, Cristi Manole commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Niculae Ene hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dealul AFC! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Poli Iasi. Tiberiu Negură stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Bădila. 0-1. Niculae Ene scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Bădila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Bădila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavius Bolcaș went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nae Tănăsocă scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Bădila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Eugen Ciolacu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sebastian Bădila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Spiridon in the 33rd minute of play. Sebastian Bădila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Ciolacu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Poli Iasi booed when Dealul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Paraschivescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vali Buta to make the kick off. Dealul AFC's Sebastian Bădila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Tănăsocă in the 51st minute of play. Sebastian Bădila was a little too slow when Pompiliu Spiridon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 58th minute Flavius Bolcaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Bădila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Ciprian Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Bădila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Bugariu during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Dealul AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Bugariu to maneuver through the defense. Nae Tănăsocă hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavius Bolcaș got free with Sebastian Bădila in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poli Iasi played a much better game than Dealul AFC and deserved their victory. The Dealul AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
