Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maxim Bornescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Chitila having to interfere. Eliodor Balaci took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Stejaru. George Stejaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Logofătu in the 15th minute of play forced FC National's goalkeeper George Stejaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Eliodor Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Stejaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Eliodor Balaci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. George Stejaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Stejaru came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves Academy's Eliodor Balaci. But to his dismay, Eliodor Balaci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. George Stejaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Albu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Wolves Academy's Eliodor Balaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Stejaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 34 minutes of play, Wolves Academy's Ernest Albu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Stejaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC National defense, Eliodor Balaci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Stejaru. The FC National fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Stejaru should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Eliodor Balaci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Stejaru. FC National's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliodor Balaci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 46th match minute, Wolves Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Robescu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Bornescu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gabriel Logofătu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolves Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Logofătu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Stejaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Eliodor Balaci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Stejaru. The goal made the score 0-10. After 61 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Robescu. Maxim Bornescu's late challenge caught a Wolves Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Bornescu helped the player get up and apologised. Maxim Bornescu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. George Stejaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Balaci in the 73rd minute of play. FC National's George Stejaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Robescu in the 75th minute of play. Iosif Chitila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Martinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC National's Panait Arsenescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
