Sebastian Pintilie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Iosif Chitila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihnea Cobâlcescu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Iosif Chitila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to GAYA FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eugen Andronescu hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, GAYA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Râznicu to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Eliodor Balaci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugen Darabonț. Eliodor Balaci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rdth minute of the game Lucian Râznicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolves Academy's Iosif Chitila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliodor Balaci hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When GAYA FC's Lucian Râznicu in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolves Academy's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Pintilie in the 38th minute of play forced Wolves Academy's goalkeeper Iosif Chitila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Lucian Râznicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAYA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 44th minute Sebastian Pintilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Chitila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Chitila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Pintilie in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliodor Balaci made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Logofătu during the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Pintilie got free with Iosif Chitila in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iosif Chitila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Pintilie in the 74th minute. Iosif Chitila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Râznicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucian Râznicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Chitila having to interfere. Lucian Râznicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucian Râznicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sebastian Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAYA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Pintilie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Chitila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolves Academy's Iosif Chitila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Wolves Academy from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wolves Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while GAYA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
