After 12 minutes, Fabian Macarie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greoni and the Wolves Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Macarie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iosif Chitila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Chitila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Macarie, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Iordache Josan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's Leonard Ghițulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Josan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Greoni defense, Leonard Ghițulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Josan. The Greoni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Josan should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Ernest Albu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Albu in the 47th minute of play forced Greoni's goalkeeper Iordache Josan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Macarie to strike the kick off in the second half. Iosif Chitila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Prezan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greoni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves Academy the free kick. 64 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Prezan came free, but Iosif Chitila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Wolves Academy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Răzvan Robescu hit a great ball.
