Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fabian Macarie made the kick off which started today's match. Lucian Râznicu took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Josan. Iordache Josan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lucian Râznicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lucian Râznicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAYA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Râznicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Josan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to GAYA FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Aurel Mihai hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Pintilie in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Josan saved Greoni from getting behind. Mădălin Magheru kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After the first half GAYA FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match GAYA FC got a corner. Greoni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silviu Gâfu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucian Râznicu's late challenge caught a Greoni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Râznicu helped the player get up and apologised. Lucian Râznicu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Iordache Josan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Pintilie's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Fabian Macarie struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eugen Darabonț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greoni. After 76 played minutes Greoni got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Prezan. When Lucian Râznicu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the GAYA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Râznicu couldn't finish the play. Eugen Andronescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugen Darabonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Sfetcu in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Greoni's zone, Lucian Râznicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Josan came out of the goal and Lucian Râznicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, GAYA FC's Lucian Râznicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Josan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergiu Crăcană charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Crăcană the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Greoni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GAYA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
