Spectators: 7654 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Lechințan started the match with the kick off. George Stejaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Ţintă in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Lechințan charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Lechințan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, FC BAYERN MUNCHEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Lechințan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC National's Nichifor Băcila got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Udurbac in the 9th minute of play forced FC National's goalkeeper George Stejaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, FC BAYERN MUNCHEN's Ionel Udurbac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Stejaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. George Stejaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Udurbac in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, FC BAYERN MUNCHEN's Daniel Lechințan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Stejaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Ionel Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Stejaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Martinescu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Măcrinici. Horea Măcrinici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 31st minute Ionel Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Stejaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Stejaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Lechințan went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, FC BAYERN MUNCHEN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maxim Bornescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 41 minutes into the match, FC National's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Udurbac came free, but George Stejaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ionel Udurbac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Stejaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. George Stejaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Udurbac, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The FC National players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC BAYERN MUNCHEN were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Bornescu to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC National's George Stejaru got control of the ball when Daniel Lechințan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolae Neagoe hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aurel Martinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Măcrinici having to interfere. Maxim Bornescu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Horea Măcrinici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC National. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Ţintă during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC National booed when FC BAYERN MUNCHEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Ţintă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC BAYERN MUNCHEN defense, Aurel Martinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Măcrinici. The FC BAYERN MUNCHEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Măcrinici should have stopped the shot. FC BAYERN MUNCHEN's attentive Nae Ţintă managed to snatch the ball when Adrian Itoafă made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Daniel Lechințan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but George Stejaru made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Daniel Lechințan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Stejaru. FC National's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Lechințan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. In the 91st minute, Daniel Lechințan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Stejaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. In the 96th minute of the match, Ionel Udurbac tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but George Stejaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC BAYERN MUNCHEN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
