Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Victor Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Şiman in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Sever Râznicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Onișoru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Moise Şiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Erbașu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Erbașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iurie Erbașu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Irinel Zbârciog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Irinel Zbârciog took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Romeo Mavrodin to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot by Irinel Zbârciog from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Romeo Mavrodin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 21st match minute, C.F. Arthur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Şiman to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Irinel Zbârciog recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Mavrodin. Irinel Zbârciog showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, C.F. Arthur's goalkeeper Romeo Mavrodin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leontin Liciu. 29 minutes into the match, C.F. Arthur's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Zbârciog came free, but Romeo Mavrodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iurie Ghiurutan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Mavrodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Mavrodin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Meral Herz sent off a good shot on target. Moise Şiman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Şiman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dacian Burtea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Onișoru. FC Dreain Timisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dacian Burtea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Victor Onișoru made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Moise Şiman sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, C.F. Arthur's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Tănăsescu came free, but Romeo Mavrodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, FC Dreain Timisoara's Irinel Zbârciog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Mavrodin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Romeo Mavrodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Căliman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.F. Arthur's Dacian Burtea got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes FC Dreain Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Marian Tănăsescu. In the 75th minute Irinel Zbârciog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Şiman in the 78th minute of play forced FC Dreain Timisoara's goalkeeper Victor Onișoru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petrică Chificeac made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dacian Burtea. In the 84th minute Irinel Zbârciog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Leontin Liciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F. Arthur's Romeo Mavrodin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meral Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Mavrodin having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Leontin Liciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Victor Onișoru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Traian Căliman struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Romeo Mavrodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dreain Timisoara. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Dreain Timisoara fully deserved thier win.
